Principal Tutoring and Consulting Services was founded in October, 2003, as a private tutoring services provider.  Founded by Alisa G. Cook, M.A., the tutoring and administrative staff began with one individual.  It quickly became evident that additional expertise (especially with Alisa's limited math/science abilities) and support was needed!

Principal Tutoring now employs and/or works with over 80 tutors, several staff members, consultants and independent contractors.

Since its founding, the organization has grown to include services such as:

• Parent consulting/education
• School consulting
• Title I tutoring services (free tutoring for qualified students)
• DES Vocational Rehabilitation Services tutoring
• Workplace training
• Educator professional development
• Government tutoring/training contracts

Our primary offices are in Tucson, Arizona, with satellite offices in Phoenix, Arizona.  In addition, services are offered off-site at client homes, public libraries, school facilities, workplaces, and other locations throughout central and southern Arizona.

Principal Tutoring and Consulting Services offers individualized support for learners of all ages by providing the highest quality educational and consulting services possible and creating a holistic environment that supports the unique needs of both learners and organizations in a manner that is sustainable and enriching.
